Venzo SPD Mountain Bike Pedals - Dual Platform Clipless Pedals

The pedals boast an extra durable heavy-duty body, forged from 6066 aluminum. The axle is precisely CNC machined from Cr-Mo, measuring 9/16 inches. The size of the pedals is 80 x 60 mm, or 3.15 x 2.36 inches.

Smooth and reliable performance is ensured by the use of LSL bushings and sealed bearings. The 9/16-inch axle is also CNC machined from Cr-Mo. The pedals feature a double-sided clipless design, compatible with Shimano SPD-type cleats. The SC-C01F single-release cleats are included.

Despite their durability and reliability, the pedals are super light. With a weight of only 290 g per pair (without cleats), they are 45% lighter than Shimano XTR pedals, which weigh around 469 g.

The tension of the cleats can be adjusted between 80 and 140 kgf.cm using the screw on the side of the pedal. This allows riders to achieve the perfect clip-in and clip-out feel.

These pedals are fully compatible with the Shimano SPD MTB bike pedal system. This means that Shimano SPD cleats can be used with these pedals, and the included cleats can also be used with Shimano MTB bike pedals.

The pedal's cleat cage is made of a single piece of high-quality steel. The cleats are precisely machined, with a deviation of only 0.01 mm, ensuring compatibility with the SM-SH51 single-direction release mechanism. This results in a very smooth clicking action when engaging and disengaging the cleats.

The pedals feature sealed LSL bushings and a dual-sided Cr-Mo binding, ensuring a smooth riding experience.

In terms of value and warranty, the pedals feature a die-cast aluminum body and a 9/16-inch CNC machined Cr-Mo axle. With a weight of only 359 g per pair, they offer excellent value compared to the Shimano PD-M540 pedals, which weigh 352 g per pair but cost significantly more. The pedals are covered by a 2-year warranty, excluding the cleats.
